Q. I currently use foil trays from another supplier. Can I switch to i2r foils and continue to use my existing sealing equipment?
A. Most definitely, many i2r foils have the same ‘must fit’ sealing profile as other industry trays and it should just be a matter of a straight switch. Please just contact the office for any concerns or support.

Q. With the drive to reduce packaging waste, what steps has i2r taken to address these issues?
A. All packaging waste on site is segregated and where possible sent back to suppliers or waste management companies for re use or recycling. Aluminium process waste is returned to suppliers and as much as 30% finds its way back into the raw material we use to manufacture our trays.

Q. Can consumers recycle aluminium trays?
A. In theory all i2r aluminium trays can be recycled and we have included a recycling logo on the base of our trays for increased consumer awareness. However, in all cases consumers should check with their local authorities to determine what facilities are available for recycling aluminium.
