i2r packaging solutions strengthens its business development team

Telford based, i2r Packaging Solutions has appointed a new business development manager, in response to the increasing demand and industry interest in their innovative aluminium foil trays.

Alan Taylor joins i2r Packaging Solutions as business development manager with a proven track record in the food packaging industry. He has spent the last two years as sales manager for D2 Food Systems Ltd and has held key positions with Harrison Europak Ltd, Robert Hinton and Partners and Tenneco Packaging.

Commenting on the appointment, commercial development director, Jon West, said;

“Alan joins us at an exciting time at i2r. Since our launch we have received very positive feedback from both manufacturers and retailers to our innovative smooth wall foil trays. As we start production in the UK from our well equipped site in Telford, we’re now able to expand our sales activity and Alan will be playing a crucial role in this.”

Alan Taylor added;

Their service is bespoke – from the product they produce to the relationship they establish not just with manufacturers but with retailers also.
