Recruitment Coordinator

Summary

The recruitment coordinator will work within the HR Department, focussing on the company recruitment cycle. Working closely with the HR and Operations Department, attracting, and retaining production staff, delivering effective inductions and ensuring training is delivered.

 

Main Duties

• Co-ordinating the recruitment and selection of labour into the Operations department.

• Working closely with line managers to understand the labour requirement to fulfil customer’s orders

• Posting adverts on job boards and promoting the brand through social media

• Being the first point of contact for all agency partners

• Liaise with potential candidates and set up interviews, obtain reference information

• Work alongside the HR Assistant in the administration of the new starters/leavers

• Ensuring all new starters have the correct documentation and permission to work in the UK

• Deliver quality, positive induction training to new starters

• Working with the production trainer on training delivery and content

• Controlling the grading system for production workers

• Delivering new initiatives to attract and retain new and existing staff

• Ensure Job Descriptions are up to date and distributed

• Analyse and deliver reports to the HR Manager/Operations on staffing issues and levels

• Ensure probation process is followed

• Support HR activities to meet departmental objectives

 

T&C's

• Hours of 8.45am – 5.00pm – 45 min unpaid lunch break, Monday to Friday

Qualifications / Experience

Essential:

• Working in a fast paced environment, preferably manufacturing

• Experience of recruiting a high volume of staff

• Knowledge of employment law

• Keen interest in people

Desirable:

• CIPD Level 3

• Onsite recruitment experience

• Able to work under pressure

• Strong attention to detail
